GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty to shooting the family dog over a stolen morsel of food has been sentenced to 45 days in jail. Thirty-6-year-old Devin Shane Calhoun was also ordered to three years probation, 12 animal abuse treatment sessions, and 36 weeks of domestic violence classes.
